Working in long-term care is more than just a job; The Scheduler is responsible for the booking of shifts, the effective day to day business operations, providing reports on an ad-hoc basis and as requested.

This role will establish continuous, cutting-edge improvement of current services in order to provide an enhanced customer service experience. Provides solution focused assistance to site staff. Ensures all shifts are filled to meet business needs.

Responsible for the management of “site workbook” of vacant shifts. Manages sick time, time & attendance records, filling up shifts, and scheduling. Authorizes and affirms that overtime and agency use is minimal.

Assures effective communication with management regarding unit staffing status and issues.



Accurately inputs relief staff into shifts in Kronos. Enters accurate hours/pay codes are entered for relief staff.

Liaison with Unit Clerks/Administrative staff.

High School

Diploma or GED required. Diploma in office management or related field preferred. word processing software and spreadsheet programs.
