We are looking for an experienced School Age Care Worker to join our Wentworth Campus . This position will work within the school age care program and facilitate activities for children ages JK-5, predominantly in JK. It is a Temporary Contract position from September 8, 2026 to June 11, 2027 with the possibility of continuing in the future.

Part Time Type Of Child Care

Available Shifts - Junior Kindergarten Room (20 hrs/week) when school is in session Monday to Friday 12:45-4:00pm for JK and 4:00-4:45pm for K-5.

Early Childhood

Education required Follow the licensing regulations and the School Age Care Handbook Interact directly with the children and staff members Assist with the planning and set up of the School Age Care program to ensure that the children have a variety of activities to choose from Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean environment, including all activity areas Ensure that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained according to licensing and Collingwood requirements Release children only to those authorized by parent/guardian Maintain confidentiality of all information related to Collingwood School, the children, their families, and staff Ensure fire,

Basic ECE A valid Early Childhood Education Diploma/Certificate A valid First Aid certificate (Standard First Aid is preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in a school or child care setting.
