The Wealth Manager is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering comprehensive private wealth solutions to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. As a senior, non-registered relationship manager, the incumbent develops deep, enduring client relationships and provides access to Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser's total wealth offering through a disciplined, goals-based wealth management approach. Working closely with the Centralized Registrant & Investment Advisory Team (CRIA) and other Scotia Wealth Management specialists, the Wealth Manager supports clients in achieving their personal, financial, and legacy objectives through holistic wealth planning, investment management, banking, lending, trust, estate, tax, and philanthropic strategies.

The role is accountable for new client acquisition, retention and expansion of existing relationships, and the delivery of an exceptional client experience.

The Wealth

Manager leverages a team-of-experts model to coordinate and implement integrated wealth solutions while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, operational, conduct, AML/ATF, and risk management requirements. Develop, cultivate, and retain profitable relationships with HNW and UHNW clients. Serve as the primary relationship contact and coordinate the delivery of integrated wealth solutions through internal specialists and wealth partners.

Conduct and document ongoing life-based discovery conversations to develop a deep understanding of clients' goals, personal circumstances, values, and wealth management needs. Partner with financial planning experts to facilitate comprehensive wealth planning and ensure recommendations align with client objectives. Coordinate the implementation, monitoring, and ongoing review of financial plans and wealth strategies.

Conduct regular reviews of client relationships and account structures to ensure ongoing suitability, profitability, and alignment with Investment Policy Statements and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with the Centralized Registrant & Investment Advisory Team (CRIA) and Centralized Investment Management Team to support the delivery of personalized investment advice and portfolio solutions. Facilitate communication of investment recommendations,



wealth planning strategies, and client outcomes.

Ensure ongoing portfolio reviews and monitoring are completed by the appropriate experts. Contribute to the development and execution of long-term wealth management roadmaps designed to help clients achieve their financial and life goals. Develop and execute business plans that support revenue growth, client acquisition, and asset consolidation objectives.

Leverage Scotia Jarislowsky

Fraser's defined sales and business development processes to identify, attract, and onboard new HNW and UHNW clients. Build and maintain a robust prospect pipeline and manage opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle. Collaborate with Regional Directors, Market Leads, Wealth Management Consultants, and internal partners to develop effective acquisition strategies.

Promote Scotia Jarislowsky

Fraser's value proposition through networking, presentations, seminars, and community involvement. Build relationships with Centres of Influence (COIs), skilled networks, and community leaders to generate referrals and business opportunities. Identify referral opportunities across Scotia Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, ScotiaMcLeod, Global Wealth Management partners, and other Bank channels.

Risk Management and Compliance Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, including Know Your Client (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF), Privacy Regulations, FCAC Requirements, Occupational Health & Safety requirements and Guidelines for Business Conduct. Ensure client wealth strategies and solutions remain appropriate and aligned to client goals, objectives, and risk tolerances. Minimize operational, conduct, reputational, and regulatory risks while protecting the interests of clients and the Bank.





Maintain compliance with all required employee attestations, policies, and procedures. Client portfolios generally exceeding $750,000 in investable assets. Achievement of assigned net revenue production objectives.

Achievement of annual asset growth targets. Adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and employee sign-off requirements. Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Chartered Investment

Manager (CIM) designation, or actively pursuing completion. Proven success in relationship management, client acquisition, and wealth management sales. Strong understanding of investment management principles and wealth planning concepts. CFA Program enrollment or completion.

Certified Financial

Planner (CFP) designation, enrollment, or strong working knowledge of financial planning.

Experience within wealth management, private wealth, investment advisory, or financial services. Strong business development, networking, prospecting, negotiation, and closing capabilities. Strong collaboration and partnership-building capabilities. Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
