We are currently looking for Senior Account Manager, Retail Financing to join the team, reporting to the Director, Existing Canadian Partnerships. You will also ensure consistency and balance between sales objectives and portfolio profitability. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with key industry contacts and decision makers (Accounts with retail financing volume) In collaboration with Legal, Finance and Risk, negotiate and oversee the rollout of profitable credit programs to new business partners Assists in the resolution of issues arising between merchant, merchants' customers and Fairstone.
Manage and grow a portfolio of retail financing partners primarily across the Maritime provinces, while providing coverage and support for Eastern Quebec and the Greater Toronto Area.
University
Degree - preferably in Business Administration or equitable work experience.
~5-7 years’ experience in retail finance industry with a sales background. ~ Analyze market to identify business opportunities and understand the competition; ~ Analyze market and internal operations to determine proper business mix and resource allocation as they relate to profitability; ~ Research and respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately, constant negotiation with both retailers and other departments within our company; ~ Demonstrated strong communication skills (oral and written) with all levels of employees, management and customers and possess confident and effective public speaking skills. ~ Proficient in MS Office products to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. ~ Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 60% of the time) and possession of a valid driver's license. ~ Flexible to work public holidays, weekends and evenings ~ Please note that this position requires bilingual proficiency in both English and French.
