We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Senior Accountant to join our accounting team.

As Senior

Accountant you will be responsible for hands on day-to-day review of processed accounts payables/receivables, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing/reviewing account reconciliations and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. This role is well suited for an accounting professional with 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working towards the improvement of process and systems. In collaboration with the controller, prepare and post monthly journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.

Assist the accounts payable team to process a large volume of transactions Manage regulatory fillings such as GST, PST,



WCB Bank Reconciliations Support inventory accounting and related reconciliations. Complete ad hoc and special projects as assigned Minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

Experience in a retail environment is considered a robust asset.

Experience using ERP/accounting systems with Microsoft 365 Business Central, preferred. Working towards a CPA designation would be an asset Group Health & Dental Benefits, paid time off, employee discount #
