- Prepare journal entries for assets, liabilities, and other accounts by analyzing accounting information and preparing supporting schedules
- Respond to questions regarding accounting procedures by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Assist with the year-end audit process
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and business processes
- Analyze monthly payroll P&L; accounts
- Handle ad hoc projects
- Oversee accounting and financial operations related to the company’s compensation and revenue streams, reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting
- Attend remote and in-person training sessions and weekly meetings with the direct supervisor

Requirements

- CPA designation
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot is an asset
