Are you an experienced commercial insurance underwriter looking for an opportunity where your expertise is truly valued?

A great opportunity is available with a Canadian MGA with 70 years of experience , known for its stability, strong expertise, and team of seasoned professionals.

Your expertise will be at the heart of the role

You will focus on specialty lines including:

- Technology
- Cyber
- Professional Liability (E&O;)

You will be responsible for underwriting new business and renewals, analyzing risks, developing appropriate terms and conditions, and building strong relationships with broker partners.

What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, ideally within specialty lines
- Underwriting experience is a strong asset
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of portfolio performance indicators
- Full bilingualism in French and English is essential
- Curious, eager to learn and interested in eventually obtaining your PAA designation
- Comfortable developing relationships with brokers and business partners
- Strong communication and presentation skills
