Position Overview The Senior Consultant, Client Services is a proven day-to-day operator who takes on independent ownership of day-to-day client relationships, project delivery, and account performance, while continuing to build toward account leadership responsibilities. This role is expected to run workstreams independently, exercise sound judgment with limited oversight, and provide hands-on support and mentorship to junior consultants.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational track record in medical communications or medical affairs consulting who is ready to deepen client ownership, sharpen strategic judgment, and take on a visible mentorship role, while continuing to develop toward broader account leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships, proactively understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Monitor client satisfaction and flag risks or opportunities early, escalating appropriately to Directors.
- Identify potential opportunities for account growth or expanded service offerings and surface them to account leadership.

Project & Execution Leadership




- Independently lead day-to-day execution across multiple concurrent projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Run client and internal meetings; clarify decisions, next steps, and risks.
- Translate strategy and briefs into clear, actionable workstreams for cross-functional teams.
- Anticipate delivery challenges and drive proactive, feasible solutions with minimal escalation.
- Support the preparation and review of project proposals, status updates, and client presentations.

Strategic Support
- Evaluate briefs and scientific strategies; contribute informed insights and a clear point of view.
- Support development of activation briefs, strategic recommendations, and program direction.
- Contribute to strategic planning sessions, annual account planning, and landscape assessments.
- Stay current on industry, regulatory, and competitive developments to inform account strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship
- Liaise with medical, creative, editorial, and operations teams to maintain alignment and ensure seamless execution.
- Participate in internal project meetings to communicate client updates and maintain alignment.
- Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to junior Consultants, building their capability and confidence.
- Support Directors in strengthening senior client relationships.

Business & Financial Management
- Support budget tracking, forecasting, resourcing, and overall project health for assigned accounts.
- Maintain organized trackers, timelines,



and reporting for transparency with account leadership.
- Contribute to SOW development and scenario planning under the guidance of account leadership.
- Flag budget or scope risks early to Directors.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements, Atheris quality standards, and applicable regulatory and industry guidelines.
- Review content for scientific accuracy and compliance prior to client or internal leadership review.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 5-6+ years of experience in account management or client services within medical communications, medical affairs consulting, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
- Robust understanding of medical/scientific concepts, U.S. healthcare dynamics, and LMR processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead day-to-day execution independently and translate strategy into precise, well-organized delivery.
- Highly collaborative in nature
- Familiarity with Canadian, US, and ex-US industry guidelines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring or informally guiding junior team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms.

Salary Range: 90–110K
