Alto is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert legal guidance for its High-Speed Rail project. This is a pivotal role focusing on complex public-private partnerships and commercial contracts. As part of the dynamic team at Alto, the Senior Legal Counsel will support transactions critical to the development of a transformative High-Speed Rail network.

You will engage with stakeholders and internal teams, leveraging over a decade of legal experience in commercial sectors to navigate legal challenges.

Your role will also include drafting documents and guiding risk assessment efforts for successful project execution. Key Responsibilities:

- Advise on public procurement and P3 legal frameworks
- Draft, review, and negotiate essential contracts
- Supervise quality of legal services from external counsel




- Collaborate with internal departments on legal obligations
- Research complex legal matters relevant to projects Requirements:
- Law degree with active membership in Quebec or Ontario Bar
- Minimum 10 years in legal roles related to infrastructure
- Robust skills in drafting and negotiating contracts
- Bilingual in both spoken and written French and English
