The Mandate

As Director, Finance, you will build and evolve the finance function to support continued growth across Canada, the US, UK and Australia.

Your mandate will include:

- Build and lead a finance function and team designed for scale
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, reporting and infrastructure
- Lead controllership, accounting operations and financial reporting
- Develop robust budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning capabilities
- Partner with executive and operational leaders to drive visibility into performance, margins and business opportunities
- Turn financial and operational data into insights that improve decision-making
- Lead cash flow, treasury and capital planning
- Support board reporting, investor communications and strategic planning
- Drive improvements across finance systems, billing and processes
- Partner with leadership on new markets, products, partnerships and other growth opportunities

Who You Are





- You are an experienced finance leader who knows what it takes to scale a business.
- You have likely been part of a company going through significant growth and understand that the finance function has to evolve alongside it.
- You know how to build the team, systems and processes needed for the next stage without creating unnecessary complexity or slowing the business down.

You bring:

- Significant finance leadership experience in a high-growth technology, SaaS, platform or technology-enabled business
- A proven track record of scaling companies and building high-performing teams
- Strong experience across controllership, FP&A;, strategic finance and business partnering
- Experience working directly with CEOs, CFOs and executive leadership teams
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect finance to business performance
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to the business to get things done
- A collaborative, low-ego leadership style and the confidence to influence across functions
- Experience thriving in entrepreneurial, fast-moving environments
- CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification
