Senior Financial Analyst (12-Month Contract) Range: 66,400.00 - 99,600.00 CAD

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME Reporting to the Director Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be empowered to:

Design, develop and maintain models and spreadsheets that capture and leverage financial data, ensuring data accuracy, to analyze and interpret results

Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis and reporting of historical trends to interpret results and derive insights

Create ad-hoc analysis and reporting to provide recommendations to improve performance

Assemble and communicate financial results to finance leadership

Prepare annual budgets (and supporting analyses) in consultation with business partners

Prepare financial analyses in support of current initiatives, requests for proposals (RFPs) and vendor analysis in collaboration with Procurement

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME University degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline

Designated CPA is preferred or Working towards CPA at senior level

3-5 years of experience with accounting, financial analysis, reporting and financial controls and procedures

High attention to detail as analysis is used in decision making by business leaders

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite,

Proficiency in financial/accounting software

Ability to locate and collect data from appropriate sources for analysis
