Partners Community Health (PCH) is a new not-for-profit organization, focused on bringing healthcare services together around the needs of people living in Mississauga and West Toronto. PCH currently operates two new state-of the-art LTC homes and community hub in West Mississauga. The new homes have a combined 632-beds and be part of PCH's larger strategy that introduce cutting-edge and inclusive programs and services and new models of care delivery.

The Senior Financial
Analyst, Financial Planning & Performance plays a key role in supporting strategic financial planning, performance reporting, and organizational decision-making. Reporting within the Finance team, this position is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, performance reporting, and business case development. Financial/Business Planning & Analysis Develop accurate financial forecasts and scenario analyses, clearly articulating key assumptions, risks, and business impacts to support effective decision-making.
Perform statistical analysis and prepare reports on operational and financial performance, cash flow, working capital, and KPIs etc. to support organizational planning and performance management. Analyze trends in resident demographics, occupancy rates, healthcare costs, government funding, and reimbursement mechanisms. Develop and prepare monthly and quarterly financial/business reports for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
Lead ongoing enhancements to reporting processes by leveraging Business Intelligence tools and analytics to automate reporting, improve data accuracy, strengthen insights, and support informed decision-making. Monitor and report on organizational financial and business performance, resource utilization, expenditure trends,
and budget targets. Communicate financial and operational performance, trends, and recommendations clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Support the preparation, review, and coordination of meeting materials for Senior Leadership Team, Finance & Audit Committee, and Board meetings, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered within established timelines. Assess the financial impact of proposed strategies and provide recommendations to optimize organizational performance. Identify financial/operational risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
Operational Finance
Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize resource allocation while maintaining high-quality resident care. Support implementation and monitoring of cost-control initiatives. Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations, accounting standards, and funding requirements. Stay current on government funding programs and regulations affecting long-term care organizations. Prepare required financial/statistical reports for government agencies and support audits and inspections.
Support procurement and contract management processes, ensuring contracts are administered effectively, vendor performance is evaluated regularly, and all activities comply with established policies and requirements. Support the organization's Risk Management reporting process by coordinating data collection, monitoring key risk indicators, preparing reports, and ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of enterprise risks to management and stakeholders.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is considered an asset. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive financial/business analysis experience, preferably within the healthcare or long-term care sector.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
Experience with enterprise financial systems and budgeting software.
Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft
Excel skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with Power BI, Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics 365, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise financial systems is considered an asset. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
