Senior Financial Analyst – Sales & Revenue

Join Sage’s Sales & Revenue Finance team (Commercial Finance) and work closely with Finance Business Partners to support Sales and Sales Operations leadership. Deliver financial insights that guide business performance and growth. You’ll analyze revenue performance and SaaS (Software as a Service) metrics to support data‑driven decisions.

The role offers visibility across the business, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a global SaaS organization. Hybrid – 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from our Toronto Office and 2 days from home (Monday & Friday). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience as financial analyst or FP&A; analyst.

Proven experience in financial data modeling and variance analysis, using insights to explain business performance, support forecasting, and guide decisions.

Advanced

Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas. HFM, Adaptive, Office Connect, SAP Fusion, Sage Intacct) and Salesforce and Power BI for analysis and reporting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on process improvement and data accuracy. able to partner effectively with Finance Business Partners, Commercial/Sales Leadership, and Sales Operations teams.

Partner with Finance Business Partners, Commercial Operations, and Sales leadership to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.

Support the month‑end close process with the Accounting team, ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenue recognition. Build and maintain KPI dashboards delivering financial insights and highlighting key performance trends. Develop and enhance financial models integrating multiple data sources to support decision‑making.

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient financial processes and compliance. Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and reporting accuracy.
