The Canadian Tire FP&A; team plays a critical role in enabling strong financial performance in an evolving retail environment. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A; Petroleum & Partnerships, you will partner closely with the Petroleum team to understand results, deliver actionable insights, and influence business decisions.
This role combines financial analysis, business partnering, and storytelling with a robust focus on process improvement, automation, and building scalable FP&A; tools that enhance the quality and efficiency of our deliverables.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and support long-term outlook planning aligned to strategic priorities
Build and enhance financial models that enable faster, more reliable, and more insightful analysis
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes
Advanced Excel skills (e.g.,
experience with automation is an asset strong relationship-building and influencing abilities
Minimum of 3 to 5 years business experience in an analytical field and solid understanding of financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements)
Familiarity with HFM, financial systems, or ERP environments considered an asset
University degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent
Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $80,000.00 and $90,000.00 CAD Annual.
