- Support the Director of Non-Retail and International FIU in leading and overseeing the investigations team
- Deputize for the Director in day-to-day management of the FIU function
- Deputize for the Director in meeting regulatory and legislative requirements
- Develop the investigations program
- Provide support, development, and mentoring
- Lead aspects of the Non-Retail investigations framework development
- Support global investigations initiatives
- Investigate complex caseloads
- Ensure effective case-work management and adherence to high standards
- Provide AML guidance to Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other functions on suspicious activity reporting

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree - business and/or risk preferred
- Prior AML investigative experience
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering related requirements in Canada, US and broad knowledge of regimes across RBC footprint
- Solid knowledge of Securities products and their use in financial crime
- Strong knowledge of relevant predicate offences, e.g. Tax Evasion and Market Abuse
- Professional qualification (e.g.



CISI Certificate or CAMS) nice to have
