The Krembil Brain Institute is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager Transformation and Quality to join the program.
The Krembil Brain Institute (KBI) at Toronto Western Hospital is home to one of the world's largest and most comprehensive multidisciplinary teams uniquely working hand-in-hand to prevent and confront problems of the brain and spine. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Transformation and Quality. As a member of the UHN Krembil Brain Institute, the SR. Manager is accountable for the overall programming and leadership of strategic and quality improvement initiatives for the program.
Managing and oversite of program projects, ensuring their successful planning, implementation and ongoing operation
Managing and overseeing quality improvement initiatives and programming within the program
Planning strategic initiatives that will advance the goals and objectives of the program
Applying collaborative leadership in working in close partnerships with medical and clinical leaders of the program without direct oversight
Performing other corporate management responsibilities
Ten (10) years experience required, five (5) of which in a management capacity
Experience working with personnel at senior levels including presenting and sharing information and making decisions
Experience working in a hospital environment preferred
Experience working in and/or knowledge of neurosciences an asset
Excellent management and strategic planning skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to take a creative and proactive approach to problem recognition, solving and conflict resolution
Government organization and a member of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
