We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in Django to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end using the Django backend and data layer, and the Django-rendered frontend (templates, forms, and UI logic). The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, efficient code, building secure and high-performing applications, and mentoring other developers.

You will play a key role in designing software architecture, developing new features, and improving the overall performance and reliability of the platform. Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django across both backend services and Django-rendered frontend views/templates. Build and maintain frontend UI using Django templates, forms, and static assets, ensuring a polished user experience.

Design and optimize relational databases and write efficient database queries. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers,



and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features spanning both frontend and backend. Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). ~5+ years of professional Python development experience. ~3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with Django. ~ Strong understanding of the Django framework, including: ~ Django ORM ~ Django REST Framework (DRF) ~ Django Templates & Template Language (DTL) ~ Django Forms ~ Middleware ~ Django Admin Experience building frontend interfaces with Django templating, HTML/CSS/JS, and integrating them with backend logic (experience with HTMX or Alpine.js is a plus).

Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.

Experience writing unit and integration tests.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Linux server environments.

Experience with frontend build tooling (Webpack, Vite, or django-compressor) and modern CSS/JS practices within a Django-templated frontend.

Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
