We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Engineer to join a busy engineering / manufacturing business. In this role, you will lead compliance activities ensuring alignment with key regulations and standards including the Machinery Regulation, and relevant EN/IEC standards. Working closely with engineering, quality, and leadership teams, you will embed compliance throughout the product lifecycle, maintain audit-ready documentation, conduct gap analyses, and support the development of robust, compliant design practices.

Proven experience in compliance, regulatory, or standards-focused engineering roles. Solid understanding of industrial product compliance, safety, regulatory, or cyber security requirements.

Experience interpreting and applying regulations and standards in a practical engineering environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems. Exposure to regulated sectors such as defence, aerospace, or similar industries. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping compliance strategy within a growing, innovative engineering business. This role will be 5 days in the office and offering a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits. #
