Join Dr. John Yang’s team as a Senior Research Assistant for a TCM clinical trial focused on urinary incontinence in older adults. You'll support participant recruitment, screening, and study assessments.
This role involves critical responsibilities in implementing a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study. You will conduct participant-related tasks including recruitment, informed consent, and follow-up assessments while ensuring compliance with research ethics. Collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator, you'll help maintain meticulous study documentation and track participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with participant recruitment and eligibility screening
- Support informed consent process for enrolling participants
- Conduct baseline assessments and collect relevant medical history
- Monitor adverse events and report to Principal Investigator
- Maintain accurate study records and ensure confidentiality Requirements:
- Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) required
- Minimum 3 years TCM clinical practice experience preferred
- Experience with older adult populations essential
- Fluency in English and Mandarin necessary
