Senior Software Developer (Java/AWS or Angular/AWS) – Contract

Location: Toronto

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to support large-scale Treasury & Payment Services applications within Commercial Banking Technology. This role is a hands-on senior developer position with technical leadership responsibilities, working across front-end and back-end technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in banking or financial services technology
- Solid hands-on experience with Java + AWS or Angular + AWS
- 5+ years of technical team lead experience
- Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL)
- Proven ability to lead development initiatives and offshore teams
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid onsite workplace

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience supporting Treasury, Payments, or Commercial Banking platforms
- Prior experience evaluating new technologies and ecosystem impacts
