Our client, a well-established public accounting firm in Vancouver, is looking to add a Senior Accountant, Audit to its Public Company Assurance team. This prospect is well suited to a designated CPA with public company audit experience who wants to continue developing their technical assurance skills while taking on increased responsibility across engagements, client relationships, and junior staff mentorship. Prepare and review audit, review, and tax engagements Work primarily with public company and reporting issuer clients Support engagements from planning through completion Apply knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards Perform substantive testing across revenue, expenses, capital assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, equity, and income taxes Review supporting documentation and assess the sufficiency of audit evidence Identify audit issues, misstatements, and areas requiring further investigation Prepare corporate tax returns and other tax compliance filings as required Work closely with Managers and Partners on engagement planning, risk areas, materiality,
