Compensation: $35-$45 per hour, based on experience Commercial Air Compressor (CAC) is a leading provider of industrial compressed air systems and services throughout Ontario. Established in 1992, CAC is a Master Kaeser Distributor, providing high-quality industrial compressed air solutions, equipment, service and technical support to customers across Ontario. We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for a hands-on field technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working independently at industrial customer sites. Service, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment Perform preventative maintenance on rotary screw compressors and related equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system issues Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, sensors, valves and compressor controls Perform compressor start-ups, commissioning and inspections Complete service reports and documentation accurately Communicate equipment findings and repair recommendations to customers Work closely with Service Coordinators, Service Management and Sales Maintain a professional relationship with customers and represent CAC positively in the field Follow all company and customer safety procedures Participate in after-hours/emergency service when required Travel to customer sites throughout the GTA and Ontario Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial field service, mechanical, electrical, HVAC,



compressed air or a related industry Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience troubleshooting industrial motors, controls, sensors and VFDs Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable travelling to industrial customer sites throughout Ontario Ability to work in industrial environments and lift equipment/components as required Experience That Is an Asset Experience with any of the following will be considered an asset: Industrial air compressors PLCs and industrial controls Preventative maintenance programs Industrial electrical troubleshooting Competitive salary based on experience Company service vehicle Paid training and technical development Health and dental benefits Health Spending Account Overtime opportunities Stable, long-term employment with an established industrial company The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on technician who can walk into an industrial facility, troubleshoot equipment, identify the root cause of a problem and communicate the solution clearly to the customer.
