Production
Worker INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS Production Workers are responsible for performing tasks such as shipping, pipe movements and operating production machinery in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Tenaris requires employees to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and fit test for this position as it is a safety sensitive position. Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctions.
Attend and collaborate in training activities in order to maintain and increase the company knowledge. Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities. Operate forklifts, front loaders and shunt trucks within the yard to safely move, organize, and stage materials in support of production, inventory, and shipping activities.
Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. Able to respond and work extra hours when required. Participate in meetings (H&S;, communications, crew meetings) Abide by all Tenaris policies.
Supply
Chain – Yards: Operate forklifts, front loaders and shunt trucks within the yard to safely move, organize, and stage materials in support of production, inventory, and shipping activities. ERW (Electric Resistance Welded): Participate in ERW pipe manufacturing operations by supporting equipment setup, monitoring production processes, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance. INCO (Inventory Control) :
Support inventory control operations by receiving, tracking, moving, and organizing materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, product traceability, and efficient workflow throughout the facility.
Hot Rolling Mill: Assist in the processing and movement of steel products through rolling operations while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety requirements. Support heat treatment operations by loading, unloading, and monitoring materials through thermal processing equipment while following established operating procedures. Perform finishing activities including inspection, preparation, packaging, marking, and movement of finished products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Quality: Conduct inspections, measurements, and testing activities to verify product conformance and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. High school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement. Candidates must successfully complete Fit & Drug testing, pre-employment medical and online assessments to be hired.
Class G drivers license or higher is considered an asset (AZ, DZ etc.) Forklift license or driving experience is considered an asset. This role involves a considerable amount of standing and walking (up to 12 hours per shift). Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Must work in a safe manner, following health and safety policies and procedures. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English work instructions. Mechanical aptitude is necessary, plus a strong command of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
