Make a difference in students' lives as a Social Worker at SMLS, focusing on their social and emotional well-being in a temporary part time role. Engage with students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. In collaboration with the Principal of the Junior School, the Social Worker at SMLS aims to provide essential support and counseling, using a strengths-based practice.
The role includes facilitating workshops and fostering resilience, crucial to helping students cope with challenges. Offer individual and group support across all grades
- Attend Circle of Care meetings to collaborate on student needs
- 1-3 years of experience in social work preferred
- Relevant education in a field related to social work
- Experience working with youth is highly valued
- Bring your expertise in student counseling to SMLS and help build a community where every student thrives.
