LandSeed is a non-profit committed to reimagining entry-level housing for future generations. Our goal is to create inclusive communities where homeownership is accessible for all, and everyone has the prospect to build a stable, fulfilling future. At LandSeed, we create solutions for the Canadian housing crisis by collaborating with communities and industry partners to identify barriers and create real pathways to homeownership.
We are driven to uplift those in housing ownership need, including first-time homebuyers, seniors, immigrants, single parents, environmentalists, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Our vision is to pioneer data-driven designs and value structures for entry-level housing across Canada.
The Social Media
Manager blends with strategy, content creation, and cross-team collaboration to amplify our mission and increase visibility. The ideal candidate should be both creative and analytical - comfortable behind the camera and in front of it, capable of producing engaging content while using data to continuously refine our approach.
Content
Creation & Management Plan, create, record, and edit high-quality social media content (photo, video, and written) Manage and maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn Publish content on behalf of various teams,
ensuring clarity and cohesion in messaging Strategy & Planning Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with LandSeed’s goals and mission Maintain a content calendar that reflects organizational priorities and key initiatives Work closely with internal teams to gather content, align messaging, and ensure proper visibility of projects and initiatives Act as a central point of coordination for social media across departments Confidently appear in and/or direct video content when needed Help shape authentic, engaging storytelling that represents LandSeed’s voice Monitor performance metrics and analyze engagement data Use insights to refine content strategy and improve outcomes Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats Ensure all content accurately reflects LandSeed’s mission, values, and voice Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Proven experience managing social media accounts, with a strong focus on Instagram and LinkedIn Experience using analytics tools to track performance and inform strategy Strong content creation skills (video editing, writing, storytelling) Excellent communication and organizational skills LandSeed does not use artificial intelligence or automated decision-making tools to screen or assess applications.
