The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Publications team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will be part of the Systems team responsible for revising the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM).

Your role as Technical Writer will be to review engineering documentation, carry out impact analyses, review revised tasks for approval and incorporate changes. Identify and implement processes and product improvements inline with the Strategic plan. You hold a college diploma (DEC) in aircraft maintenance or avionics, or equivalent field. You have strong communication skills (written and spoken) in French and English.

You must have a thorough understanding of technical drawings, wiring/schematic diagrams. You have a detailed understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies (an asset). You have basic understanding of S1000D and ATA specifications (an asset).

You have good knowledge of XML authoring language (an asset).
