Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental standards to aid in patient’s diagnosis and/or treatment Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding Hospital and departmental policies and procedures Provide radiologists with high quality imaging, accurate and complete preliminary technical impression,



discussing ultrasound findings with the radiologist when necessary Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required Sonography Canada (CRGS) certification in abdomen and obstetrics/gynecology with preference given to those who are also RVT (CRVS) or eligibility for registration with Sonography Canada within six months of the date of hire Experience in general abdominal, obstetrics/gynecology, paediatric, breast, vascular and musculoskeletal preferred FMF NT certification an asset Proven skill in the production of high-quality ultrasound images Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites.

Currently
