Manager, Business Process & Commercial Operations, you will assist with pharmaceutical partnership initiatives, vaccination programs and cross‑functional projects.
You will support the development and maintenance of processes, reporting, documentation, and tools that enable effective execution across the Pharmaceutical Partnerships team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, business process improvement, project coordination, data analysis, and program implementation within a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.
Program
Support and Store Communications Provide day‑to‑day operational support for provincial vaccine and Pharmaceutical Partnerships programs. Maintain provincial public vaccine data and complete required submissions within government‑owned portals, including PGW, AVI, and ImmsBC, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Maintain program documentation, procedures, reference materials, and trackers, supporting consistency and continuity across programs.
Commercial
Reporting, Analysis and Admin Prepare and maintain regular program and commercial reporting, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and delivered within established timelines. Maintain commercial trackers and reporting tools used to monitor program performance, financial activity, contractual commitments, and key deliverables. Collect, validate, and reconcile financial, operational, and program data from multiple sources,
investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrections as required.
Review pharmaceutical agreements and supporting documentation to understand and track commercial requirements, financial obligations, timelines, and deliverables.
Project Coordination Support Pharmaceutical
Sourcing and Commercial Operations projects from planning through implementation, launch, and transition to ongoing operations. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, action items, and status updates, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are tracked. Support the gathering and validation of business and operational requirements.
Working towards or has a post‑secondary degree diploma in Business, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Statistics, Data Analytics, Health Sciences, Operations Management, or a related discipline; relevant post‑graduate studies would be considered an asset. High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint, with the ability to develop effective spreadsheets, reports, documentation, presentations, and process materials.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to maintain documentation, manage multiple activities, track deliverables, and follow through on outstanding items. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, including in a hybrid or remote setting. Adaptable and able to set priorities and manage work effectively when assignments, timelines, and business requirements change.
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn about pharmaceutical sourcing, commercial operations, retail pharmacy, business process improvement, and healthcare programs. Ability to handle business information with appropriate professionalism, discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality. This role provides exposure to multiple aspects of pharmaceutical and retail pharmacy operations, including vaccine programs, commercial operations, reporting and analysis, contract administration, and project coordination.
