Project Management and Planning Specialists support SHA’s Major Capital Projects portfolio by providing end-to-end planning and project management services for projects greater than $3M.

The Project

Management and Planning Specialists collaborate with senior leadership, Ministry partners, and stakeholders to deliver services including scope and feasibility development, budgeting and estimating, scheduling, risk analysis, design and drawing reviews, infection control planning, commissioning, reporting, approvals, and financial tracking.

Major Capital

Projects is also responsible for the development, purchase, delivery, and installation of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE), and the development and execution of Operational Readiness Plans. The role ensures user, clinical, and operational requirements are translated into functional designs and construction documents. Specialists act as the primary liaison between management, clinicians, user groups, and project teams.

They represent the owner on construction sites and maintain project and contract records to support high quality, client centred service delivery.

Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 3 - 5 years’ experience developing and leading creative projects.
