Overview

We are seeking a Digital Twin Specialist to join the development team for one of the largest high‑speed rail infrastructure programs in the country. In this role, you will design, implement, populate, and manage the project's integrated digital twin ecosystem, enabling data‑driven decision‑making across design, construction, operations, and long‑term asset management. This is a unique chance to shape the digital backbone of a nationally significant rail system.

- Develop data integration workflows connecting BIM, GIS, IoT, SCADA, and asset management systems.
- Build and maintain asset hierarchies, metadata schemas, and federated models aligned with ISO 19650 and rail data standards.
- Populate and validate digital twin data from engineering, survey, and construction sources. Integrate real‑time sensor and telemetry data to support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Support simulation activities for train performance, passenger flow, energy use, and asset degradation.
- Enable digital handover workflows to ensure a seamless transition from construction to operations.
- Collaborate with BIM, GIS, systems engineering, IT, and operations teams to ensure data quality and interoperability.

- Provide training and guidance to project teams on digital twin tools, standards, and best practices.

- Experience with simulation tools (AnyLogic, OpenTrack, MassMotion) is an asset.
- Experience with digital twin platforms (Bentley iTwin, Autodesk Tandem, ESRI GeoBIM, Siemens, NVIDIA Omniverse, Dassault Systems 3DX or similar).
- Strong background in BIM (Revit, Civil3D, OpenRail) and GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Knowledge of IoT, SCADA, telemetry systems, and real‑time data integration.
- Familiarity with railway systems: signaling, traction power, track, civil structures.
- Proficiency in data modeling, APIs, ETL pipelines, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
