About the Opportunity · Perform full-cycle month-end close activities for assigned corporate and non-operating entities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and trial balance maintenance. · Review, enter, and reconcile intercompany, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions related to assigned entities. · Support collections, disbursements, and related follow-up for assigned entities as required. · Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules and analyze key results, variances, and unusual items for review with the Finance Manager. · Maintain supporting documentation and provide backup for management reporting, audit requests, bank reporting, and other external stakeholder requirements. · Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness within recurring accounting and reporting processes. · Participate in finance projects, process improvements, and other ad-hoc reporting assignments as required. Maintain and update the 36-month rolling forecast for assigned non-operating entities, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow assumptions, and highlight key changes and financial impact. · Prepare monthly group-level consolidation reporting and analysis of actual and forecast results for management review. Cash Flow and Treasury Reporting · Monitor group-level bank balances and daily cash activity across the group. · Maintain the daily cash flow report, including expected receipts, scheduled disbursements, payroll funding requirements, loan activity, and short-term liquidity needs. · Prepare and maintain a three-month cash flow forecast to support short-term liquidity planning and identify working capital needs. · Integrate the cash flow template with the latest approved forecast to ensure cash flow projections are aligned with current business assumptions. · Present weekly cash flow updates to senior management, as required. · Escalate items requiring management attention to the Finance Manager.
Investment
Reporting · Maintain quarterly investment reporting schedules using external investment statements and supporting documentation. · Update fair market values, distributions, realized and unrealized gains/losses, and other relevant investment activity. · Reconcile investment balances to supporting statements and investigate unusual variances. · Prepare investment reporting summaries for management review. · Escalate investment-related items 3+ years of general accounting, full-cycle accounting, corporate accounting, or related financial reporting experience · Strong understanding of accounting principles, balance sheets, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation · Advanced Excel skills, including experience with linked schedules, reconciliations, formulas, and financial reporting templates. · Consolidation experience and cash flow experience · Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
