As an Accounting Supervisor within CBRE's Advisory business, you will lead a team overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, policy management, and financial reporting activities. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards, support process improvements, and partner with key stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights that support business performance and exceptional client service. Provide formal supervision to employees.
Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Motivate and negotiate with employees, management, and client groups to take the desired actions.
Provide an accent on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and. Provide scoping information, testing, and feedback. Ensure that the systems follow financial processes and procedures, accounting standards, legal tax requirements, management expectations, and applicable regulations.
Assist with audit procedures. Administer accounting practices to ensure client satisfaction. Create presentations to internal clients, top management, and public groups. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of accounting fundamentals. CPA or other accounting designation is an asset Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency,
and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
