Engineer . Manager, Engineering , this position is responsible for supporting the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems for the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) BWRX‑300 Small Modular Reactor, while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Support the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems for the BWRX‑300 reactor, with potential involvement in Instrumentation & Control systems Review design deliverables including engineering documentation, calculations, and bills of material Lead and support Design Change Packages including Modifications, Temporary Modifications, and Non-Identical Component Replacements Provide technical guidance and review/approval of designs and Field-Initiated Changes Collaborate within an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model to ensure effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams Interface with engineering vendors, supporting design acceptance and monitoring vendor performance Support engagement with external stakeholders, including the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) Investigate and resolve field design issues while ensuring compliance with Engineering Change Control (ECC) processes, project schedules,



and cost requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related field Minimum 3+ years of design engineering experience, preferably 8 years, in nuclear or other highly regulated industries Strong experience in electrical systems design;

experience with Instrumentation & Control systems is an asset knowledge of nuclear codes would be an asset.

Experience with Engineering Change Control (ECC) processes required Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced project environment Candidate must be a fully licensed engineer in the province of Ontario, or be eligible to be licensed in the Province of Ontario The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.
