STEM Education Specialist – Part-Time

CREATESPACE Academy is hiring STEM Education Specialists for after-school programs in Burnaby and the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam & Port Moody).

This is a very part-time position, teaching approximately 2–3 after-school lessons per week at elementary and middle schools.

Our programs include LEGO Robotics, Coding, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Lego storytelling, and other hands-on STEM activities.

Requirements

- Experience working with children; teaching experience preferred
- Interest or experience in STEM, robotics, coding, AI, or technology
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and dependable
- Comfortable leading groups of children
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable using tablets/computers




- Able to travel to schools in Burnaby and the Tri-Cities
- Valid First Aid certification required
- Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check required

Position Details

- Curriculum, lesson plans, and equipment provided
- Paid training provided
