Canadian Tire Martensville is looking for an experienced, motivated retail leader to join our team as Store Manager.

You will join a seasoned leadership team as our second Store Manager, working alongside our existing Store Manager and reporting directly to the General Manager. Together, our Store Managers provide day-to-day leadership across the business, working closely with our Department Managers, senior leaders, and Associate Dealer.

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager or a strong, proven Department Manager ready for the next step. Above all, we want a proven people leader who is curious, dedicated, eager to learn, and motivated to make a positive impact.

Our Store & Community

Canadian Tire Martensville is a 50,000 sq. ft. C-box store with approximately $23 million in annual sales, serving Martensville, Warman, north Saskatoon, and surrounding communities.

Located just minutes north of Saskatoon, Martensville is one of Saskatchewan’s fastest-growing communities. Our store is an established, high-volume operation with an experienced leadership team and plenty of opportunity for a motivated leader to contribute, learn, and grow.

The Role

Working alongside our General Manager and fellow Store Manager, you will help lead the store's day-to-day operations, develop our Department Managers and their teams, and drive strong execution across the business.

You will

- Provide visible, engaged leadership and lead by example.
- Coach, support, and develop Department Managers and their teams.
- Help build a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Drive strong execution in customer experience, merchandising, inventory, productivity, and operational standards.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and follow through on results.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and bring forward new ideas.
- Work collaboratively across the leadership team on store priorities, projects, and continuous improvement.

You bring

- Successful experience as a Store Manager or a strong Department Manager with significant leadership responsibility.
- Strong retail operational knowledge and a track record of delivering results.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and engage teams.
- A team-oriented, lead-by-example leadership style.
- Strong communication, organization, accountability, and follow-through.
- Curiosity, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to keep learning.
- The confidence to make decisions, bring forward ideas, and respectfully challenge the status quo.

Previous Canadian Tire experience is an asset but not required.

What We Offer

- $60,000–$70,000 annual salary, based on experience, skill set, and demonstrated leadership ability.
- Annual profit sharing of approximately $3,000–$5,000.
- Minimum three weeks of vacation, with entitlement recognizing previous Canadian Tire years of service.
- Hands-on development and mentorship from an experienced General Manager, Store Manager, Associate Dealer, and leadership team.
- Opportunities to lead projects, broaden your experience, and take on increasing responsibility within our store.

For someone with the ability and ambition to pursue it, this role can also provide meaningful development toward future opportunities as a General Manager or Canadian Tire Dealer.
