We are seeking an RPN with hands-on surgical experience who excels in high-pressure environments.

You will play a key role in physical and psychological assessments, preparing patients for their surgical procedures, while providing crucial post-operative guidance. This position champions the philosophy of Person-Centred Care. Key Responsibilities:

- Administer thorough assessments before and after surgeries
- Guide patients through pre-operative instructions and preparation
- Offer support with mobilization, transfers,



and ambulation
- Educate patients on recovery processes and pain management
- Partner with RNs to uphold patient-centered care principles

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario College of Nurses Registration
- RPN diploma and BCLS certification mandatory
- Recent surgical experience of 1-2 years required
- Certified in venipuncture and proficient in phlebotomy
- Robust interpersonal, problem-solving skills needed
