Supervisor, Terminal Planning Full-time The Terminal Planning Supervisor is responsible for the regional planning, development, and monitoring of inbound and outbound freight across terminals in Atlantic Canada. How You’ll Help Accountable for the daily, timely execution of Planning Service Level Agreement (SLA) ensuring appropriate scheduling model for adequate redundancy. Provide feedback to local operations related to terminal owned SLA components and implement corrective actions for the next planning cycle.

Identify

Planning reporting that aligns to the achievement of Terminal Operations KPIs and create action plans as required. Review quality of output from Planning team (quality of route and load plans) and ensure adherence with transportation laws and company policies regarding weight and weight distribution, cubing, transportation of dangerous goods are being followed. Review performance and deliverables of direct reports, providing coaching and corrective feedback as required. Recommending suggestions for the overall improvement of planning and dock processes in partnership with National Manager, with a heightened focus on efficiency and service. Post-secondary education in Business or Office administration, an asset ~ 1-3 years’ experience in terminal operations, dock operations,
