Supply Food Services

Technician / Long-term Occasional RATE OF PAY: $26.18 per hour (including 4%vacation pay) As a Supply Food Services Technician, you will have the autonomy to determine your availability and preferred work locations, allowing you to tailor your schedule to fit your lifestyle. The position involves assisting students with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals while maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the food preparation area. The work also involves the control and handling of cash receipts from the sale of meals and balancing of accounts.

Additionally,you will have the opportunity to contribute to an OMERS Pension paving the way for long-term financial security. The DSBN provides opportunitiesfor long-term placements that could lead to full-time permanent employment. 1-2 years of experience in commercial or institutional food preparation and service; ~ Robust knowledge and commitment to food safety and sanitation; ~ Valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle for travel within the jurisdiction.
