Position Summary

Support the press team in a Montreal factory. Duties include cleaning equipment in the washing room, preparing the press for use, stocking supplies, and stepping in to perform tasks for other team members as needed. The role offers a clear path to advancement from assistant press operator to press operator and beyond.

Responsibilities

- Assist the press team with daily operations.
- Clean equipment in the washing room.
- Prepare the press for use during loading.
- Stock and maintain supplies for the press.
- Perform other team members’ tasks on the press when required.

Work Hours & Compensation

Shifts: 12‑hour days (7am‑7pm) or 12‑hour nights (7pm‑7am). Three days per week. Pay: $32.55/hour with an additional $2.85/hour night premium. Company provides uniform, steel‑toe shoes, and free employee parking.

Qualifications

- High‑school diploma or equivalent (DEP, technical in printing).
- Experience working on a press preferred.
