Heavy Machinery Operator – Saint Lambert, QC

Job responsibilities include

- Operate a minimum of two production machines (e.g., Prima press brake, Trumpf press brake, TC500, and CTL).
- Enter production data into the Lean Flow system.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Operate and monitor production equipment while maintaining quality standards.
- Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and carry out minor repairs.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload goods.
- Receive and ship orders while performing basic checks (quantity and quality).
- Supply production lines with raw materials and organize and store product inventory.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.
- Assess required work and plan necessary interventions.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
- Perform mechanical, electrical,



and electronic diagnostics directly at client sites or on‑site.
- Identify sources of malfunctions and determine necessary repairs independently.
- Inspect equipment at the beginning of each shift and report anomalies.
- Load and unload trailers and other transport vehicles.
- Conduct general and preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty vehicles at client yards or on the road.

Qualifications:
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Proficiency in English or French.
- Red Seal certification (preferred).
- Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy machinery.
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Additional details:
- Full‑time schedule – 40 hours per week.
- Relocation costs not covered by employer.
