The Tool Crib

Attendant will be responsible for managing and maintaining tool inventory, distributing and inspecting tools, ensuring safe storage of hazardous materials, and keeping the tool crib organized. Supports operational excellence through continuous improvement and collaboration to resolve inefficiencies while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Manage and maintain tool inventory, including receiving, rotating, and keeping accurate records.





Distribute tools to employees and contractors in a timely and organized manner. Order new tools as needed and prepare inventory counts when required. Ensure safe storage of hazardous materials, chemicals, and gases according to WHMIS standards.

Promote operational excellence through continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and collaborating to resolve issues. Work collaboratively and consider risk factors such as time, cost, quality, sustainability, and throughput when making decisions. Prior tool management is considered an asset.
