Join Surrey School District as an Indigenous Child Care Specialist and work towards increasing school success among Indigenous youths. As an on-call worker, you will implement strategies that support behavioral and emotional growth for at-risk students. This includes active participation in Individual Education Plans and behavior management, fostering a sense of belonging within the school community.
Engage parents in their children's education Grade 12 and two-year diploma in Child and Youth Care
- Experience in working with Indigenous children
- Knowledge of behavioral issues faced by youth
- Understanding of Indigenous culture and history
- Make a difference in the lives of Indigenous youth by supporting their educational journeys as part of Surrey School District.
