What You Will Do

- Prevent shoplifter theft in a retail workplace while providing customer service to clients, patrons and customers.

- Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage.

- Confront individuals you suspect of theft,



who have unpaid merchandise.

- Escort trespassers out of the client premises.

- Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise

- Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations.

- Escalate situation to law enforcement as required.

- Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate

- A Valid British Columbia Security License is required

- Previous security experience in a retail environment

- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, is required

- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills

- Ability to work without close supervision
- A keen interest in asset protection and crime prevention
