About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a key role in Positive Protein's growth by owning the full recruitment cycle. You will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in the market, while acting as a partner to hiring managers in their hiring decisions. Beyond managing inbound applications, you will take a proactive headhunting approach to build strong talent pipelines and meet the company's current and future needs.

This role suits someone autonomous, proactive and results-driven, with strong judgment, who is just as passionate about finding top talent as about improving our recruitment practices, employer brand, candidate experience, and even employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the full recruitment cycle, across all roles and seniority levels.

- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, define candidate profiles and establish appropriate recruitment strategies.

- Write and optimize job descriptions and post openings across various recruitment platforms.

- Manage incoming applications, conduct screening interviews and coordinate the various stages of the selection process.

- Develop a proactive headhunting approach to identify and reach out to standout candidates in the market.

- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for the organization's current and future needs.

- Advise and coach hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate evaluation, selection and offers.

- Participate in preparing, presenting and negotiating job offers when needed.

- Ensure clear, human and professional communication throughout the process to deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

- Evolve and optimize recruitment processes, including through automation, standardization of practices and the development of tools that improve recruitment efficiency without compromising quality.

- Update and analyze key recruitment KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and support decision-making.

- Contribute to the launch and development of the careers page and employer branding initiatives, in collaboration with the marketing team.

- Coordinate the onboarding process with the rest of the Talent & Culture team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate experience to employee experience.

- Participate in certain culture and employee experience initiatives.

- Contribute to various Talent & Culture projects based on the organization's needs and evolving priorities.

Desired Profile

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, ideally in a high-growth environment.

- Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle for various types and levels of positions.

- Proven headhunting experience.

- Experience in a recruitment agency is an asset.

- Ability to quickly build trusted relationships and act as a partner to hiring managers.

- Excellent skills in leading interviews, assessing candidate potential, and advising hiring managers at every step.

- Experience with recruitment tools and platforms and a robust interest in automation and process improvement.

- Excellent command of French and English, spoken and written.

- Strong autonomy, initiative, and priority management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver a human, professional candidate experience.

- Ability to demonstrate both perseverance and empathy.

What We Offer

- A hybrid work environment with a mix of in-office (H4C 1E2) and remote work.

- Group insurance (dental, medical, telemedicine) 60% covered by the employer.

- $600 annual wellness budget to support your physical, mental, and financial well-being

- 50% employee discount on all our products

- 50% discount on the building’s gym membership (B52)
