coaching and development of firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and matters Research of tax issues and preparation of memoranda Participate in special tax engagements Provide client tax planning services Preparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staff Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships and identify client service opportunities Successful completion of/or in the process of completing the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and/or Master of Taxation Course ~5+ years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty ~ Robust technical knowledge of Canadian tax related issues and of GAAP requirements for tax provisions ~ High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, and tax research software ~ Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management and organizational skills ~ Experience working with owner managed businesses considered an asset ~ A passion for tax work!
