Company Description The Canadian International School of Hefei (CISH), founded in 2014, is the first K–12 school for foreign children in Anhui Province, China, and the first in the region to offer the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. Accredited by the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, CISH provides a dual graduation pathway through the IB Diploma Programme and the New Brunswick high school diploma, preparing students for top universities worldwide. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Teachers role. Teachers will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational philosophy. Daily responsibilities include planning units and lessons, teaching classes, assessing student learning, providing constructive feedback,



and maintaining accurate records of progress.

Teachers will collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, communicate regularly with families, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning setting. Additional duties may include supervising co-curricular activities, supporting student well-being, and participating in school events and committees.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in classroom instruction and curriculum implementation.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured learning activities and supporting student skill development.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and interact professionally with families.
- Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in international or IB schools, and familiarity with inquiry-based learning, is an advantage.
- Ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms and support students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
