- Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials, components, and parts
- Conduct dimensional inspections using CMM equipment on complex components
- Develop, modify, and execute inspection programs using PC-DMIS and/or PolyWorks
- Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) submitted by suppliers using Net-Inspect
- Review and verify supplier documentation and certifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections as required
- Identify and document non-conforming materials and support disposition activities
- Analyze inspection data and trends to identify quality issues and improvements
- Prepare transparent, detailed inspection reports and technical documentation
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Ensure inspection tools and CMM equipment are calibrated and maintained
- Work closely with suppliers, engineering, and internal quality teams

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in CMM inspection and/or receiving inspection
- Solid understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Knowledge of incoming inspection processes and supplier quality requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical report writing
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Current work authorization for Canada is required
- Criminal background check required for candidates aged 18 and over




- Preferred: experience in manufacturing environments, including aerospace or precision machining
- Preferred: familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems
- Preferred: certification in metrology or quality inspection (ASQ or equivalent)
- Preferred: experience with ERP systems for inspection documentation
- Preferred: experience using Net-Inspect or similar FAIR management systems
- Strong experience using PC-DMIS and PolyWorks for programming and operation
- Experience with standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
