As a Technical Analyst, Disability Claims, you will play a key role in the timely and efficient assessment of new short-term disability claims and the payment of eligible benefits, while delivering a human-centered, thorough, and reassuring client experience. Gathering and analyzing the medical, administrative, and contractual information required to open and assess new short-term disability claims Communicating with clients, employers, and various stakeholders to obtain required information and ensure thorough follow-up on claims Determining claim eligibility according to contract provisions, established criteria, and operating procedures Processing and issuing eligible short-term disability benefits through an accelerated payment process for straightforward claims that meet established requirements Maintaining complete and accurate claim records within internal systems to support operational continuity and service quality What Could Help You Succeed in This Role Is recognized for their administrative rigor and ability to manage multiple files in a high-volume environment Demonstrates strong analytical skills and sound judgment when interpreting medical, administrative, and contractual information Has experience in customer service, administrative processing, insurance, case management, or a related field Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role requires regular verbal and written communication with clients, employers,
and stakeholders located outside Quebec The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces vacation entitlement employee and family assistance programs The typical hiring range for this position is $47,544 to $68,329 CAD per year.
