We are looking for an AV Installer to join our team in Winnipeg. This mid‑level Installer position will be completing installation tasks for audio‑visual projects including, but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating racks, mounting projectors, screens and video walls.
Review
Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Perform comprehensive, onsite commercial audio‑visual installation including low voltage wiring, rack setup, projector and screen installations, speakers and control systems. Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio,
video and network cables Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists overnight travel will be required on a regular basis Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities Post‑secondary education in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a relevant field is preferred Any industry recognized training is preferred: Comprehensive 100% employer‑paid perks, including coverage for Dental, Vision, Health (including paramedical services such as massages, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc.), Critical Illness Insurance, Long‑Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
