Field Service Technician – Montreal area

Located in the industrial sector of Ville St-Laurent, a 100+ year old High Tech company specializing in the Automatic Identification industry has an opening for the following position:

- Salary depending on experience plus car allowance and benefits
- Normal Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

- Installation of new equipment
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of products
- Respond to urgent break/fix service requests
- Product support via telephone or email
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance service
- Manage parts inventory
- Maintain excellent customer relationships

Requirements:

- Solid communication skills in French and English
- College or University Degree, Diploma or Certificate in either Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Field Service Repair




- Ability to communicate openly and confidently
- Work independently with good time management skills
- Good trouble shooting skills to define problems
- Ability to read technical mechanical and electrical drawings
- Having a reliable vehicle along with a clean driving record

The optimum candidate will have experience with installing and supporting Barcode Technology Equipment as well as computer network knowledge.

Product training will be available.
